Fuerte de Santa Cruz in Oran

Oran is a city that is very similar to a European city (I heard that was the city of Algeria does not seem to Algeria), is the second largest in Algeria of around 700,000 people and is really great.

take this opportunity to visit the most famous of the city, the military fort of Santa Cruz, a monument built in stone and situated on a mountain attached to the city of Oran. The fort is located right at the top of Mount Murdjadjo at a height of 386 meters above the bay.

The fort was built in the sixteenth century by the English and later renovated by the French, who later built a chapel, and is one of the symbols best known of the city.

To climb the mountain it's best to stop a taxi to take you and to negotiate a lower price because there is no public transport or anything like that (we found one that we went and we went down and spent the whole afternoon with us ; joining us for 1000 dinars, about 8-10 €). Climbing

first thing you find is the chapel and a big church:

How Do You Get Rid Of Karma Points On Howrse

Change coins and notes money

In Algeria, the official currency is the Algerian Dinar, usually the change in the bank ranges from about 99-100 Euro Dinars, ie equivalent to one cent Dinar Euro. As I have told you on the bench only change Euros to Dinars, if when you leave the country want change Dinars are you're not going to because you do not make them change for Euros. It's a little strange all is said it looks like a hoax (I wish I could refute / confirm this), so we change the money bit by bit to not end up eating us the Dinars.

However, I recommend that the bank will not change unless absolutely necessary as there are some shops that Euros and you wear them the change with a change Dinars higher than the bank of around 124-128 Dinars by Euros (which is a much higher change! We are giving 25% more for our money), but to give you an idea: they are not cashing stores far from ordinary shops are where you change the owner Euros to your Dinars, the reason is a mystery but I guess that will some kind of skullduggery and possibly dark mounted relates to the canard that you can not change dinars to euros.

Come on, what life has been termed as "black market" for the time we changed three times and all three in these places, the shops were a sports shop, a hardware store (this was even more illegal, as entering into a small room that was in the back) and a traditional clothing store. These stores are very easy to find, just go to an area which has many shops and go ask them, even if you have no idea to speak French or Arabic just teach the Euros and you know what you mean, may become the crazy (or are in law) and they tell you they do not know where to change but in the shops soon asking someone tells you that change you shop.

My recommendation is that at least 120-115 will not change because I am sure you are using the revolutionary tax tourist.

Popped Blood Vessel Weed

The most currencies in Algeria have a certain resemblance to those of the Euro, the funny thing is that coins and banknotes never renewed (or so it seems), you can find many coins which have lost the relief by wear and tear over the years.
The coins are exactly the same except for euros the 2 euros:

1 Dinar (1 euro cent).
2 dinars (2 cents).
5 Dinars (5 cents).
10 dinars (10 cents).
20 dinars (20 cents).
50 dinars (50 cents).
100 dinars (1 euro).

Click on the picture you can see larger and more detailed.

With coins of 1 and 2 Dinars goes something like that in Europe the 1 and 2 cents to the euro that rounding prices always ended in 5 or 0 so it is quite difficult to see the coins but is supermarkets and places like that.

exactly happens here only more aggravated, but actually there are coins of 1 and 2, I could only see a quarter of 2 dinars in the two weeks I've been here, until yesterday believed that there was or who had retired circulation.

tickets are only 3:

200 Dinars (2 Euro)
500 Dinars (5 euros)
1000 Dinars (10 euros)
Clicking on the picture you can see larger and more detailed.

If the coins are worn, with tickets going very curious thing is that tickets are almost always 1000 dinars how new is how the bills "fat" in Europe that have not circulated note that much, but with the notes of 200 dinars just the opposite happens, is almost impossible to see one in a position, most have holes and are taped together, in addition to the feel of paper note that is very old, going to the same notes are circulating the test of years.

Ilegallizing Masterbation

Algerian Car Wash disgusting! Tlemcen Market

Seen in Oran. Certainly put the typical "dirty car wash" but written in Arabic, or who knows, maybe it's an insult or a funny phrase.

Anyway I found it quite funny.

Roof Of Mouth Feels Weird

Tlemcen in the center of all day from early up there at 7 pm there is a huge and vast market, which can be separated into two parts.

On one side is the market that is how we all know, a big tall building, consists of a first floor with bus stops where they sell meat, vegetables and fruit. And a floor where they sell fish, spices, nuts, etc ...

Here I show you some pictures:

market building entrance, you can see how to have a first floor above and one floor.

One of the curious things I've seen in the market was a kind gentleman who brought his donkey, how in ancient times.

market inside with their stops.

Verdura.

Seller with a nice cat.

Ground more stops.

Species.

On the other hand, is the street market was once a place where merchants and artisans traded and sold their products (which was within the walls of the city and named Kissariya ), now day mixed all kinds of shops (clothes, jewelry, fruit shops, bakeries ...) with street stalls that sell mainly fruit, vegetables and fish, we can find people selling mint or mint to make tea. A place is pretty easy to get lost in the streets and in my opinion is one of its charms.

I Tlemcen market.

selling fish.

Man shopping for fish.

Most people sell their gender in a cart with two wheels and can be transported with their own hands, chaos is when they begin to dismantle the stalls because it is a constant stream of people around with these carts.

size street market is really huge and always crowded, there are many sellers and note that there are many people who live it. This is a really nice and recommended a visit.

On hygiene market I have to say about all sites clean and less clean sites in general can always find a stop where hygiene have, yes, fish stalls are a characteristic fish smell and, well, personally it is a smell that gives me quite Asquith.

You can see more photos (and better than mine) of report did Rafa .

Cost To Recover Old Lampshade

More trivia: Enrollments in Algeria Algeria

Today has given me by writing a few curiosities that keep crashing the country, now it's time to talk about the license plates.

And it is one of the many things that surprises me: It seems there is no written policy regarding the license plates are not all equal and therefore You can find a lot of license plates with the numbers and background of different colors, different group numbers, etc. .. Come on, is that even the font used to print the numbers look different from one car to another.

dominated Registrations are those written with the numbers grouped into 3 blocks: 4 numbers, 3 numbers and 2 numbers, although the font and color vary according to something I can not understand. But as I said, this group is the most common but you can find almost as many groups as your imagination allows.

I'm going to illustrate with images that you may know that I speak and understand better what I mean:

With hyundai symbol and italics.

This seems to be bold.

Well well, this is the high, yellow and white letters, of course if you meant is that until you're stuck you can not distinguish the numbers he has. A real genius of the color scheme.

Hyundai with the symbol of the European Union (¿?).

can see how the font is not the same (in fact it is difficult to find two same while to find two different very easy).

There are also more types of grouping of numbers are enough, I leave more images for you saw that I speak:

This has grouped the numbers given how he has won .. .

Another symbol of the European Union.

This seems to be left to put numbers, really, how will that be a registration?

How bonus track will teach you that I think are the bomb: Tuition written with a permanent marker:

written half and half printed. And best of all, it seems written with a pen that was not going very well, as I say, here is a lot of loose artist design fees.

What's that? Do you ID? Handwritten with permanent ...

However incredible it may seem there are enough registrations to the stunt writing directly on the plate ...

And finally my favorite type of registration:

Take that! Written directly on the body of the car and roll!

This is rare to see, but if any Hayle, in my opinion this takes the cake on the street.

Y remember kids: My briconsejo of the day is to not attempt the latter aberrations in their homes (in their cars / license plate / body intended) or the guard mu Sivila boots will cost you very willingly.
