Statement on counterfeiting, fraud and misuse of the image and name TrotaCuentos Group (Peru)

A end of 2009, we received the request from the Colombian entity: Comfacauca (Casa del Cauca Family Compensation) to "verify the authenticity " an invitation to a Festival "allegedly" arranged by us addressed to the narrator Colombiano: Garzón Edwin Lasso, who in presenting this false document obtained work permits and financial support to come to Peru the last days of December.

As we announced the Comfacauca , Mr. Edwin Garzón insists on affirming who came to Peru at the invitation of ours and said that he worked with us. Faced with this and having agreed with Comfacauca , we feel the need to make this public to delineate possible future problems, hoping that there are no more bodies or persons concerned.

• not organize or coordinate an event that responds to the name of "21 International Storytelling Festival - Peru has Christmas", in Once we ignore the existence of something similar on those dates.
• affirm that this "invitation" in short where the group allegedly TrotaCuentos invited Mr. Edwin Garzon said event, IS TOTALLY FALSE. (Letter received is attached.)
• affirm management had made no with Mr. Edwin Garzón and know their job or work as an artist and / or other professional.
• recognize that a person named Edwin Garzón contacted TrotaCuentos group through Facebook Social Network proposing a show based on texts of Argentina Author: María Teresa Andruetto . What I was told that we had no availability . (Picture attached mail reference)
• show our total disagreement by the use of the group name, the name of its members, the logo of the same or even a national symbol for writing a false document which denigrates and affects the image and the serious work that we pursue and promote.
• note that we do not take responsibility for the misuse some malicious people have done with this type of documents and deeply regret that some companies, entities and / or individuals have been defrauded and affected by this situation .
