One of the attractions are the caves Tlemcen Ain Beni Add, are located at 1143 meters high and access is located on top of a mountain very close to Tlemcen (about 16 km east). The temperature inside the caves are 13 degrees and the visit can be done safely in an hour as there is a guided path of 700 meters.
is composed of limestone and in it you can see really beautiful stalactites and stalagmites that has been forming for thousands of years (about 65000 or so), stalactites and stalagmites progressing 1 cm every 100 years and further whenever bind a column completely natural form, is actually impressive to see.
This piece of the caves is also called inverted forest, because the top is very reminiscent of a forest way around.

The tour consists of three cameras (which are open to visits) with a depth of 45 meters and the first being the largest has a height of 18 meters, the second is called King's Chamber and the third chamber of swords (for the large number of stalactites hanging sharp and appear swords).
In one chamber of the cave you can see how stalactites hanging are the most broken or cut, we can see that the remains are on the floor of the cave, and which according to the guide caves, tunnels is about 145km in length that connect directly to Morocco in 1953 French army exploded dynamite and silted up with concrete step to block this passage, the reason was to prevent the Mujahideen will use it to procure arms and ammunition coming from Morocco.
